- Health & Hygiene Camp
Held on Friendship Day, this camp gave underprivileged women direct access to essential healthcare guidance — including general care tips, pregnancy guidance, and education on herbal remedies — led once again by Dr. Priya Singhania, whose ongoing partnership with REWA has anchored much of its women’s health work.
Beyond guidance and education, the camp also distributed essential supplies: sanitary pads and health supplements were given directly to attendees, ensuring the day resulted in tangible resources, not just information.
How REWA Made an Impact
This camp treated menstrual and reproductive health not as a side topic, but as central to women’s dignity and daily wellbeing — subjects that are still often under-discussed or under-resourced in underserved communities. By combining education with direct product distribution, REWA ensured attendees left with both knowledge and material support.
The choice to hold this camp on Friendship Day was deliberate — reframing a day typically associated with casual celebration into one centered on solidarity and care between women in the community.
