Ujjwal Preschool Annual Day
Once a year, Ujjwal Preschool pauses its regular routine to celebrate how far its youngest students have come. This Annual Day brings together children, teachers, volunteers, and parents for a joyful showcase of an entire year’s worth of learning, growth, and small daily victories.
The event features performances from the children themselves — simple songs, rhymes, and short skits that reflect what they’ve picked up over the year, alongside an activity showcase displaying artwork and early learning exercises completed throughout the term. For many parents, it’s the first time seeing their child perform in front of an audience.
A small graduation ceremony closes out the day, marking the transition of the oldest cohort from Ujjwal Preschool into mainstream primary school. For families who never imagined affordable early education as an option, this moment carries real weight — a visible, celebrated milestone rather than a quiet, uncertain handoff.
Donors and community members are warmly welcome to attend and see directly what their support has helped build over the year — not through a report or a photo update, but by watching the children themselves stand up and perform with confidence.
