For many underprivileged women, financial dependence isn’t a choice — it’s a wall built by lack of access: no skills training, no market connections, no starting capital, and often, no one who believed they could run something of their own. REWA’s Women’s Social Entrepreneurship Program exists to take that wall down, one woman at a time. Through vocational training, financial literacy workshops, and hands-on entrepreneurship support, REWA equips women with practical, income-generating skills — from tailoring and food preparation to small business management — giving them the tools to build something sustainable rather than relying on sporadic aid.

 

What makes this program different is what happens after the training ends. REWA stays involved through mentorship, market access support, and initiatives like the Push Cart Project, helping women turn new skills into real, ongoing income. The results speak for themselves — women who once had no independent income are now running small businesses, earning steady money, and making decisions about their own lives without needing permission. Every graduate of this program carries forward more than a skill; she carries the confidence that comes from proving, to herself and her community, that she can stand on her own.
